“My entire life has revolved around safeguarding her health as best I can,” Norris confided to CBS News during a joint interview with his wife at the time. “You know, I had to put my film career on hold.” They revealed that they had shelled out nearly $2 million in treatments to combat her health woes. According to Radiology Business, they dropped at least one lawsuit in 2020.
Norris started scaling back his acting commitments in 2005, following the TV movie Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire and the film The Cutter. He did make a comeback in 2012, with a cameo in The Expendables 2. In 2015, he lent his voice to play himself on The Goldbergs. And in 2020, he made a guest appearance on Hawaii Five-0.
