James Reynolds has shared his near-death experience, including what his thoughts focused on and what he saw.
He went to the hospital to have his gallbladder removed, thinking it would be a routine procedure, like “just another day in the office.” However, things went wrong.
He sent a text at 2:17 pm and then entered the surgery, anticipating it would take an hour followed by around 20 minutes of recovery. But he woke up over three hours later.
When he woke up, he saw dressings on four parts of his body where the surgeon had operated to remove his gallbladder. He then tried to look at the wall to check the time. While growing frustrated as he couldn’t make it out, a nurse rushed to his side and told him, “James, you need to breathe.”
