Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
Frequent nosebleeds can be associated with hypertension. High blood pressure has the potential to weaken the blood vessels in the nose, rendering them more susceptible to rupturing. If left untreated, hypertension heightens the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damage.
Bleeding Disorders
Recurring nosebleeds could also suggest the presence of a bleeding or clotting disorder, like hemophilia or von Willebrand disease. These conditions prevent blood from clotting effectively, leading to excessive or frequent bleeding.
