Her tattoos have also impacted her family life. While her two youngest children are her biggest supporters, five others have distanced themselves from her. And when she covered her tattoos with makeup for £3, her family’s reaction was unexpected chaos. “The kids went crazy,” Sloan recalled. “Even the dog did a double take.”
Her youngest child was terrified by her ink-free face, and it took a full day to remove the heavy foundation. “It should have been the other way around,” Sloan joked.
Despite criticism, Sloan stays true to herself. “People said I looked beautiful without the tattoos, but I love the madness,” she said.
