Sexual fantasies about another person: Fantasizing about attractive people is common, whether in a relationship or not. But frequently daydreaming about someone you often see could potentially lead to something more, as Lundquist pointed out.
Having romantic feelings towards someone else: Known as ’emotional infidelity’, the boundaries here are particularly unclear. Lundquist said there’s an undertone of disloyalty. While having multiple loving relationships is normal, it becomes an issue when secrecy is involved, like only seeing someone when your partner isn’t around.

Secret spending: This is something many might be guilty of. Hiding your spending habits from your partner can be seen as unfaithful, especially when the spending impacts both of you. Lundquist noted that not disclosing such activities can cause problems since you’re likely to be found out eventually.
Secret social media activity: Social media has made cheating seemingly easier, but Lundquist has a different perspective. He suggested that spending more time on your phone than with your significant other could be a form of infidelity. ‘Obsessive’ behavior on social platforms might lead to being less engaged with your partner.
