Docs: Wendy Williams States She’s ‘Not Incapacitated’ by Dementia While Her Guardian Requests a ‘New Medical Evaluation’

Wendy Williams and her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, are in ongoing disagreement regarding the state of Williams’ health.

Morrissey filed a request for a “new medical evaluation” in court just hours after the 60-year-old former talk show host denied being “incapacitated” during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.

On the radio program on Feb. 5, Williams stated, “I don’t have frontotemporal dementia…it’s disgusting. That’s a very rare thing for anybody to have.” She further added, “I’m not incapacitated. I am not a baby.”

Williams also spoke out against Morrissey’s lawsuit against A&E Television Networks, Lifetime Entertainment, and other affiliates following the airing of the docuseries, Where Is Wendy Williams?. In the papers filed on Feb. 20, 2024, Morrissey criticized the network’s documentary, alleging that it “shamelessly exploits [Williams] and portrays her in an extremely demeaning and undignified manner.”
