Dad arrested as women ‘including his partner’ killed in ‘stabbing rampage’

Both women lost their lives at the scene, while the boy and a man in his late twenties were rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. Police arrived shortly after 6:30 pm at the home in Bletchlying, Milton Keynes, and discovered the injured dog. It was taken to a vet, but unfortunately, it succumbed to its wounds.

One distraught neighbour, his voice choked with emotion, told The Sun: “Around 6 pm, a lady came out onto the balcony, screaming, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe’.” He went on to say that the young boy then fled the house and sought shelter with another neighbour. The witness described the man inside the flat as “on a rampage”, and said the boy had been stabbed in the chest and head. “The dog ran out, covered in blood. Within minutes, there were about 12 ambulances,” he added.

Another stunned onlooker recalled how medics treated a bloodied male on the street before transporting him to the hospital. “Paramedics were working on him, and the other victims were covered in a white tarp,” he said.

The suspect was thought to have tried to flee the scene in a car, but was caught by police nearby. A witness said: “We saw him getting in his car. We were on our balcony telling police ‘He’s there and he just sped off.’”

Forensics officers could be seen searching the home, outside of which hung a Christmas wreath and kids’ toys were scattered. There was a significant police presence the following morning, and the scene remained cordoned off. Evidence was being meticulously collected, with forensic cops swabbing the front door and numbered yellow evidence markers dotting the road outside, including on the boot of a parked car.
