Challenges of living apart
Throughout 2024, Conover and DeSorbo were open about the challenges they faced due to their geographical separation. They frequently addressed how their relationship functioned while living in different cities.
In the interview with Us Weekly, Conover also addressed the assumption that living in different cities would inevitably lead to a breakup. He firmly stated,
“We’re just going to break up and meet new people? No.”
He pointed out that their ability to travel and use technology, such as FaceTime, helped them maintain their connection. He explained that they were able to spend time together because of the flexibility in their schedules and the ease of travel. As the Southern Charm star put it,
“With FaceTime and with effort and the ease of our travel, we’re fortunate that we can fly when we want, and we make it work.”
