The Flip Off was announced in May 2024 and was initially set to feature the exes as teammates. However, news of their split came in July 2024. Hall had filmed several promo videos for the house-flipping competition show and appears in the first episode of the series, which is set to premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
After their breakup, Haack continued filming the show without Hall, and HGTV removed him from new promo photos released in December.
Haack’s recent comments about working with her ex come after she shared a vulnerable post on Jan. 6. She posted a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself crying in her car after a fight with Hall while shooting the new series. “This was taken on June 21, 2024. After one of my shoots with Josh. This is’real’ and a reminder to myself that I deserve better,” she wrote.
