Some people’s passports will be affected by an executive order signed by Donald Trump recently.
Trump made headlines after his return to the White House earlier this week. On Monday, January 20, he swiftly signed numerous executive orders. According to BBC News, he signed over 200 directives. An executive order is a written instruction from the president to the federal government that doesn’t require congressional approval.
One of the executive orders he signed is titled “Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government”.
This order brings significant changes, mainly centered around the idea that there are only two genders, male and female. As a result, transgender women will no longer be held in female jails.
