A 10-Year-Old Blind Boy Who Once Jammed with Travis Barker Loses His Family’s Home in the Fires in L.A. – Mom Says ‘I Knew We Had to Go’

In an Instagram video shared by the nonprofit Big Talk on Jan. 17, which is trying to assist the victims of the L.A. fires, Grayson described the moments before his family had to flee and the impact of the tragedy on his life. “I lost all my Braille stuff, my Legos, my instruments,” said the aspiring drummer. He added that the hardest part wasn’t losing his possessions but losing his neighborhood. “I just love where we lived,” he said.

According to a GoFundMe set up for the Roberts family, Grayson, who has undergone 37 surgeries to help his vision, is known for his big smile and positive energy. He sells lemonade to fund his dream of world travel and in 2024 raised enough money to buy 200 canes for the blind in Ghana.
