In the early hours of last Friday, January 3, the peaceful town of Maravilha, located in the backlands of Alagoas, was the scene of a brutal crime that took the life of Ana Clara Firmino da Silva, a girl of only 12 years old. The murder occurred in the city center, about 234 km from Maceió, leaving the local community in a state of shock and indignation.
According to the Military Police, the incident happened around 1 am, on Travessa Sagrada Família. A young man was accompanied by a friend when a silver car, model Ônix, stopped near them. Two individuals got out of the vehicle and attacked the teenagers with stab wounds.
