Celebrated figure known as ‘The Feline – faced Woman’ passes away after numerous facial plastic surgeries

The international high society is mourning the loss of Jocelyne Wildenstein, known as the “woman with the feline look,” who passed away at the age of 79 in a luxurious Parisian residence.

The news was announced by her current partner, Lloyd Klein, who stated that the cause of death was a pulmonary embolism. Jocelyne had over a million followers on Instagram and led a life split between New York and Paris.

She was born as Jocelyn Perisset in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1945. Her marriage to art dealer Alec Wildenstein introduced her to the New York elite. Her numerous facial transformations became a subject of public speculation regarding the motives and costs of her multiple plastic surgeries.

Rumors suggested she spent millions on aesthetic procedures to achieve a feline appearance. In her last TV appearances in France, she openly discussed personal matters, including her tumultuous 1998 divorce. Lloyd Klein expressed his sadness in an official statement, announcing her death and calling her an icon.

She had two children with Alec and kept the surname that made her famous. Her death marks the end of an era and leaves a controversial legacy regarding the limits of body modification and the price of fame.
