Former President Barack Obama kept a playful watch on fellow former President George W. Bush during President Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025.
After leaving the Capitol Rotunda that day, Obama, 63, was asked by Washington Post reporter Emily Davies if Bush, 78, behaved as Trump was being sworn in. “Just barely,” Obama joked in reply, as shown in the clip Davies shared on X.
