In September 2023, Banks shared in an interview with PEOPLE that Bélanger-Martin tried to throw her a 50th birthday party. However, she declined as she wanted to go to Disneyland with her family instead.
Bélanger-Martin has an impressive educational and professional background. He got a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Quebec and a law certificate from the University of Montreal. He’s held top positions in various companies, such as vice chairman of the board at Global Eagle Entertainment, CEO of Advanced Inflight Alliance, and CEO of DTI Software. In 1996, he also co-founded Groupe W Inc., a private investment firm.
The two were first linked in October 2019 when they were spotted having dinner at Hutong restaurant twice in one week. Before that, Banks had been photographed with him in Los Angeles two months earlier, but he was then identified as a “mystery man”.
