Fury of Flames: LA Celeb Mansions Ravaged by Wildfire as The Getty Villa Blazes, 30k Flee Homes and Abandon Vehicles

Situated on the eastern edge of the Pacific Palisades, the Getty Villa is a distinct campus of the world-renowned Getty Museum, dedicated to preserving and showcasing the art and culture of antiquity.

The origin of this catastrophic fire is believed to lie in dry vegetation. Los Angeles spokesperson Erik Scott reported that it was first spotted around 10:30 am on Tuesday. What began as a small spark quickly mushroomed into a monstrous blaze, engulfing 200 acres within the blink of an eye.

The chaos wrought by the fire extended far beyond the burning landscapes. Film studios, in a bid to safeguard their premieres and audiences, were forced to call off two highly anticipated movie events. The Los Angeles Unified School District also sprang into action, temporarily relocating students from three campuses nestled in the Pacific Palisades area to ensure their safety.
